I love the San Franciscan starter. It gives my bread a really sour dough taste which I love. Starter has worked really well for a newbie to sour dough bred making.

Oh my I have been a kefir milk maker and drinker for years but the cheese maker has me inspired. The texture is delicious with berries, better than yoghurt in my opinion. Thanks for the inspiration and tools!

Great quality they’re making some nice kefir

The kefir grains arrived in good condition and within a satisfactory Australia Post timeframe for a regional town. I had no difficulty in getting the grains to grown (which look more like baby's mucous than actual grains). I am still experimenting with my practice as it's ingrained in me to keep fresh milk in the fridge. The flavour is a little more tart than expected, but my little dogs love it. All worthwhile!

Very lucky to have found this site that sells organic milk kefir grains as local stores have all gone out of stock! Everyone must be in a kefir frenzy right now. Fast shipping, kefir arrived safely with simple instructions, easy to follow. First try was a bit over-fermented, but that's probably because of the 39C heatwave. Afterwards, I reduced the fermentation time to suit my family taste and kefir grains are growing nicely and we have milk kefir everyday! Very excited to continue this healthy habit.

The sourdough starter is now producing some excellent bread. Sourdough can be tricky to get correct, it took us until the 3rd loaf to get the best looking loaf. Definitely the French starter is a milder flavour, which is exactly what we were after

I am so happy with this starter. It has that perfect San Franciscan flavour - just the right amount of tang. Incredible to think that it is 130+ years old in origin. Previously I had been using a 5 year old starter and they are incomparable.

The 106-year-old French starter is incredible. It quickly produced strong dough. The flavour is beautifully balanced. My first loaf had a crisp crust, open crumb and my kitchen smelled amazing.
