Looking forward for my 1st homemade kefir

Took a few days for the grains to acclimatise but now they are strong and pumping out the milk kefir every couple of days. Grains are also slowly starting to multiply which is exciting. My milk kefir is delicious and I'm very happy with the purchase. Looking forward to all the health benefits these grains bring.

Quick, efficient and grains are producing well.

Getting into making a sourdough starter? Then this kit might fit the bill. Comes complete with thermometer you can stick on the glass cylinder, hydrated satchel, solid lid with seal, as well as a stirrer and a gauze-like cover (that allows starter to breathe. A rubber band is sued to mark the rise and fall of the starter as you progress from Day 1 to Day 5, 6 or 7. Came well packed. Delivery time acceptable. Good communications with seller.

Bought some kefir grains that were really well packaged - grains are now fermenting 1L of milk daily after 4-5 smaller fermentations. Like a dream.

The grains were sent promptly and were well packaged. I am busily making a batch of kefir each day and the grains are multiplying!

It took three days for this starter to roar to life. Made a loaf using only wholemeal flour, and it was suprisingly good. I'm impressed. I've been much more successful with this starter compared with previous homemade sourdough starters.
