Arrived quickly and very much alive, I'm now making fresh Kefir daily! Super happy with the purchase. I've tried powders before, but they weren't as effective as these live grains.

We had some questions when the kefir grains arrived and Sandy from the Fermentation Station was super prompt with her responses which helped a lot.
I can recommend The Fermentation Station highly.

It's a wooden-handled metal stick with a razor on the end. Makes a neat slash in your sourdough. Hooray etc. Comes with spare blades. Came with the Sourdough Master Kit which has mostly useful items, and some less useful clutter (pen, sticky labels).

The sourdough starter hydrated beautifully and we baked four delicious loaves already. Also baked some sourdough crackers with the discard . Yum.

Love the milk kefir, grains multiplied beautifully, took about 4 days.
Made some labne with it too. Delish!

Not just in shipping but also in how quickly these started multiplying. I'm already fermenting 1.5 litres of sugar water every 2 days.
