How to Use
Infuse into finished brew (recommended):
- Add 1 tsp per 500 ml of finished water kefir / kombucha / jun. (If you like lighter flavour, start with ½ tsp.)
- Cold infuse in the fridge for 6–12 hours, then taste.
- Strain, chill and enjoy. (Serve over ice for the best result.)
Quick method: Steep the blend in a small amount of hot water for 3–5 minutes, cool completely, then add to your finished brew.

Do I add the tea during the ferment or after?
We recommend infusing after your brew is finished (once your water kefir / kombucha / jun tastes how you like it). This gives you the cleanest flavour and the most control.
How much should I use per batch?
A great starting point is 1 tsp per 500 ml. If you prefer a lighter flavour, start at ½ tsp and increase next time. Taste as you go — it’s easy to adjust.
How long should I infuse for?
Cold infusion is best: 6–12 hours in the fridge. Stronger blends can be ready sooner depending on your taste.
Will this make my brew more fizzy?
Infusing adds flavour but doesn’t automatically add carbonation. If you want extra fizz, bottle your brew and allow a short second ferment after flavouring (always burp bottles and use pressure-safe bottles).
Can I use these with both water kefir and kombucha?
Yes — all of these blends work beautifully across water kefir, kombucha and jun. If you’re brewing jun, we recommend slightly lighter dosing or shorter infusion for the most delicate result.
